- TEMPORARY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
- The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), a Constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam established in 2005, is inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians to temporarily fill vacant positions at its campus located in Chang’ombe, Temeke District, Dar es Salaam. Successful candidates will be engaged on one-time renewable contract terms for the following vacant position:
- Position: Artisan II – Public Addressing System Number of Posts: 1
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of Form IV certificate with Trade Test Grade II in Electronics or related fields from recognized institutions.
- Specialization in Installation and maintenance of Public Addressing Systems.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform designated tasks requiring specialized skills under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workplace.
- Manage and maintain working tools.
- Undertake minor repairs and maintenance.
- Report maintenance issues to senior staff.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the administration.
- Payment Scale: PGSS 2
- Note:
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.
- Applications should be written in either Swahili or English.
- Applications must include a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of academic, professional certificates, and birth certificate.
- Two recent passport-size photographs and contact details of three referees should be included.
- Age should not exceed 45 years.
