  • ABOUT THE EMPLOYER:
  • The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, philanthropic, non-profit, non-governmental association, which assists deportees and other populations affected by deportations worldwide. NRC was registered as an I-NGO with the NGO Board in Tanzania in 2016. NRC has been providing services to the deportees living in the Camps in the Kigoma region in partnership with the Government of Tanzania.
  • GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to NRC programs, tools, textbooks, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that design conditioning are enforced in agreement with design agreements.
  • Prepare and develop daily, yearly, and other status reports as needed by operation.
  • Ensure proper form of documents and keeping of records.
  • Assess, promote, and document ideas for specialized enhancement and further program development options.
  • Promote the rights of deportees returnees in line with advocacy strategy.

 

  • SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adherence to NRC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines in relation to provision of
  • information, comforting, legal backing, and referral conditioning.
  • Provision of information, comforting, and legal backing services in camp and girding host community.
  • Completing applicable M&E procedures for the attestation of ICLA heirs.
  • Supporting the regular updating of IEC accoutrements for dispersion.
  • Conducting group information sessions and other outreach conditioning.
  • Preparation of customer input and case operation forms for comforting and legal backing services and ensure confidentiality of customer data.
  • Supporting the provision of internal referrals from other ICLA NRC core capabilities and conducting external referrals to other service providers.
  • Support the conducting of capacity structure and training conditioning for communities, government officers, and NGOs on ICLA thematic areas.
  • Supervise applicable NRC community staff supporting design conditioning.
  • Share in ICLA nonstop assessments, mapping and disquisition and supervise data collection during ICLA checks and assessments.
  • Support and grease the ICLA actors to get necessary civil attestation which include but not limited to Birth, Marriage, and Death instruments.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Professional capabilities:
  • Experience from working as a Project Assistant in a philanthropic/recovery environment.
  • Former experience of working in complex surrounds.
  • Proved results related to the position’s liabilities.
  • Strong communication chops.
  • Interpersonal chops and capability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Proven chops in report jotting.
  • Advanced computer chops; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of English.
