  • About the Organization: Established in 2004, the Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania (FSDT) is a patron-funded entity dedicated to fostering transformation within the financial sector. Guided by the Market Systems Development (MSD) approach, we aim to build robust systems that empower the economically marginalized, particularly focusing on women and youth, who are identified as the most financially excluded segments of society. Through our initiatives, we strive to create gender-equitable financial programs, innovative services, and enhanced confidence among women and youth in utilizing financial resources.
  • About the Role: FSDT is seeking applications for the position of Driver & Administration Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day operations. This multifaceted role involves providing transportation services and administrative support. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of staff, guests, and equipment to various locations, while also assisting with administrative tasks such as office management, correspondence handling, and inventory control.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation:
  • Safely operate company vehicles for staff and goods transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, conduct regular inspections, and prepare necessary reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of energy operation reports, vehicle logs, and service records.
    Administrative Support:
  • Assist with office tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain office filing systems, assist with data entry, scanning, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Oversee office cleaning and coordinate maintenance schedules.
    Inventory Management:
  • Track and organize office inventories and equipment, coordinating orders and restocking as needed.
    Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the office.
  • Support special projects or tasks as assigned by management.

 

  • Qualifications:
  • Certificate or vocational training in automotive, transportation, or logistics.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and professional driving experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a driver or in vehicle transport operations.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
